Have you ever had to use a rope to help lower down and “catch” wood?

Have you experienced near misses, high risks, or property damage when dropping, or “catching” large sections of trees?

In Spar Pole Rigging, you will learn about the equipment and techniques related to rigging down sections of trees that can weigh thousands of pounds. You will learn about the knots, hitches and equipment needed to perform this type of rigging safely and efficiently. Expert coaching provides you with an understanding of rigging forces; and practice time develops your abilities tying knots, hitches, making the cuts and working with the saw on a spar pole.

* Due to license & insurance requirements, any participants wanting to perform work with an aerial lift device during the training program must arrange to bring their own device.

Eligibility Recommendations: High Angle Chainsaw Use in Trees or equivalent training in this specialized area.
