As someone who is not only an arborist, but also a trainer, this course was eye-opening. To be able to look and think about trees in a new and fresh way was amazing. Jack knows trees and knows how to get others excited about them as well.
This course can be delivered on a private, contract basis to an organization as requested. Please call Nancy at 1-877-268-8733 to request a training program.
Tree Biology and Care 2-day module Trees are living organisms that interact with their environment and survive by forming relationships. A “systems approach” to tree care discovers ways to help trees thrive in urban and developed environments by strengthening vital relationships and working with the natural defenses in the tree system. This intensive two-day course will explore key concepts of tree anatomy, biology, ecology, as they relate to the practice of sound arboriculture. It is designed for anyone who works with trees or wants to learn more about them. Interactive and hands-on learning methods will require active participation in discussion, outdoor, and laboratory sessions.
