Utility Tree Worker Comprehensive Training Program
10-day program
This training program is a comprehensive training curriculum that includes hand’s on training and state of art education that will train participants to:

Identify Due Diligence & Assess Tree Failure Risk,

Perform Proper Ground Operations & Equipment Usage,

Perform Precision Tree Felling and Safe Operations of Chain saws,

Demonstrate Aerial Lift Operations,

Demonstrate Tree Climbing Operations• Demonstrate Proper Pruning Techniques and Explain the Biology of Trees,

Explain Disease Management in Trees,

Explain Insect Management in Trees,

Identify Tree,

Demonstrate Emergency Response & Rescue Procedures,

All students will receive testing in each component to report on the level of competency. This program is set up as a private, contract option for large organizations and is priced based on location and # of participants. In Alberta, this program has been approved by the IVMAA as meeting the training requirement necessary in order to apply for your Utility Tree Worker Certification.
