Golf Course grounds staff are required to perform a very broad range of job duties, some of which usually include tree maintenance, planting, pruning and storm damage clean up.

Arboriculture Canada provides hand’s on training and education opportunities in the areas of:
Tree Pruning
Chainsaw Safety & Cutting Techniques
Tree Identification
Insect and Disease Identification
Urban Tree Planting
Structural Tree Support Systems
Tree Biology and Physiology

Some of these courses are offered in our public training programs across Canada. Please check our schedule for course dates near you.

If you have a staff of 8 or more or can partner with another golf course, your training investment will go further if you book a private, customized training program that will specifically meet the needs of your staff.
