Arboriculture Canada has received approval for our Utility Tree Worker program from the Industrial Vegetation Management Association of Alberta.

This program is currently only available to organizations who require this program for a group of their staff. It is not offered as a publicly scheduled courses. This training program is a comprehensive training curriculum that includes hand’s on training and state of art education that will train participants to:
• Identify Due Diligence & Assess Tree Failure Risk
• Perform Proper Ground Operations & Equipment Usage
• Perform Precision Tree Felling and Safe Operations of Chain saws
• Demonstrate Aerial Lift Operations
• Demonstrate Tree Climbing Operations
• Demonstrate Proper Pruning Techniques
• Explain the Biology of Trees
• Explain Disease Management in Trees
• Explain Insect Management in Trees
• Identify Trees
• Demonstrate Emergency Response & Rescue Procedures

All students will receive testing in each component to report on the level of competency. This program is set up as a private, contract option for large organizations and is priced based on location and # of participants. Please contact us for specific information.
