Ground Operations & Aerial Support
2 day module
Do you understand the value of a good person on the ground?

How much time can it take to get someone to understand the equipment, knots and techniques to attach a tool to a rope, sling a tree properly and quickly?

This course is designed to train tree worker support staff to understand the very important role they play in overall job site safety and accident prevention. In addition to clean up, chipping of brush and cutting of firewood, they are responsible for assisting climbers or bucket operators in often very technical and serious rigging, removal and pruning operations. A strong focus on risk management, safe and ergonomic work practices is demonstrated and practiced in this course. Ground Operations and Aerial Support accelerates ground workers' abilities and skills to help make them positive contributors to climbers and aerial lift operators during day-to-day tree care operations.
