ATMOS TREE & ArborCanada - Environmental Impact Summary

We are excited to celebrate the successful impact made possible by ATMOS TREE through their 2:1 tREeCYCLE program. At Arboriculture Canada we are passionate about the safety and health of both people and trees.

Why we choose ATMOS TREE

Quality hands-on arboriculture training requires real tree removals. Arboriculture Canada has chosen to formally acknowledge and offset this impact by partnering with Atmos Tree to support off-site tree planting beyond the training environment. This report summarizes the environmental impact achieved through that collaboration.

Cumulative Impact to Date

Total trees planted through the Arboriculture Canada × Atmos Tree partnership: 1,420 These plantings represent the combined impact of multiple training seasons and reflect an ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility within arboriculture education.

All trees are planted off-site and managed through the Atmos Tree program to support long-term reforestation and landscape resilience.

How the Partnership Works

Atmos Tree operates a 2:1 tREeCYCLE program designed specifically for the arboriculture industry. For every tree removed during training, two trees are planted off-site. Tree planting is funded through the Atmos Tree program and supported by arborists and tree care businesses committed to responsible removal practices.

Why This Matters

This collaboration reflects a growing expectation within the tree care industry: that professional training and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. By integrating tree replacement into training operations, Arboriculture Canada demonstrates leadership in environmental responsibility while supporting a practical, industry-led approach to stewardship.

A special thank you to ATMOS TREE Founder Kurt Stenberg for all his work and collaboration on keeping our industry green!

If you're thinking about how to plant more trees look no further than ATMOS TREE.
