We will promptly notify the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta of any security breach involving personal information that poses a real risk of significant harm to individuals. We store all information you provide to us behind firewalls on our secure servers.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal information changes. By law you have the right to request access to and to correct the personal information that we hold about you.

If we determine that an error or omission exists, we will correct the information as soon as reasonably possible. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. If we decide not to make a correction, we will annotate the personal information under our control with the correction that was requested but not made. We may charge you a fee to access your personal information, however, we will notify you of any fee in advance. If a fee applies, we will provide you with a written estimate before processing your request. Processing will pause until you have accepted the estimate and, if required, paid any deposit. If we do not receive a response to the estimate within 30 days, we may consider your request withdrawn. Any remaining balance of the fee is payable at the time the information is delivered. We may decline to provide the requested information until the total fee is paid.
